Stories of Summer - Our New Summer Collection

Summer has arrived here in London. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is in full swing and the May bank holiday is just around the corner. Wimbledon’s lawns are getting greener by the day and we’ve just started selling our bestselling ice cream in our shops.

This time of year also heralds the arrival of the limited edition summer specials in our Seasonal Collection of fresh truffles and ganaches. These are all made by hand in small batches in our West Dulwich kitchen by our talented team of Chocolatiers.

For this year’s collection, they’ve not only drawn on the flavours of summer and championed the best of British ingredients. They’ve also been inspired by our shared sense of nostalgia for British summertime experiences. After all, taste and memory are very closely linked.

New additions:

An Afternoon of Tennis – A fresh strawberry puree and cream ganache, wrapped in a strawberry-infused milk chocolate

Summer Holidays Caramel – A smooth caramel made with Thai kaffir lime, Fijian coconut milk and passionfruit puree, encased in a dark chocolate shell

Summer Sundaes – A banana and roasted cashew praline, enrobed in thick milk chocolate

Returning favourites:

Alfresco – A dark milk chocolate ganache made with Cornish Brut Camel Valley sparkling wine, with a touch of Chambord for extra fruitiness

Rose Garden – Pistachio praline with a white chocolate and rose otto oil ganache

Cakes for the Picnic – Dark cherry jelly and Amaretto-laced marzipan come together to form a delicious, chocolate version of the Derbyshire classic

On Crushed Ice with Lime – Zingy lime jelly layered with dark Caribbean rum ganache and fresh mint white chocolate ganache
